From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the warm hospitality from the staff. Once seated, we ordered ramen and it was fantastic, the broth was perfect and the chashu was so tender and flavorful. The chicken karaage was one of the best we've tried. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Calgary to try their sushi!
Amazing quality of food! The Hamachi sashimi was the best one in my life I tried! The staff are so professional and friendly. The foods came out fast and the whole vibe in the restaurant was good. I would definitely go back and try another sashimi. The sashimis are thicker than other restaurants which give you buttery texture. I love it!
My wife and I decided to have dinner here after seeing an online ad, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! The food and service were absolutely phenomenal-10 out of 10. We tried a variety of dishes, including appetizers, sushi, sashimi, and ramen, and everything exceeded our expectations. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it!
Check out this fairly new sushi & izakaya restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. From start to finish, the service was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very fresh and tasted amazing. It was quiet and comfortable to talk in the restaurant without excessive noise. Presentation of the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend checking this place out for your next sushi cravings!
Kujira Sushi Izakaya is definitely one of my go-to spots in NW Calgary. The sushi is always fresh, and I love how they're not shy with the portion sizes-especially the thick-cut sashimi. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, perfect for a relaxed night out. Service is usually fast and friendly, and their happy hour deals are a nice bonus. If you like Japanese food, this place is worth checking out!
